ACTING

Acting is not just a skill or a limit of expression. It is a language that draws the viewer's attention by gently mixing Navarasa (1. Beauty, 2. Comedy, 3. Compassion, 4. Roughness, 5. Heroism, 6. Fear, 7. Horrible, 8. Wonder and 9. Tranquility). Our Institution precisely teach NAVARASA (the nine shades of acting) to the acting aspirants, scheduling training in talky and silent acting (mookie), and referring good platforms for the candidates through auditions for the film crews who are looking for artists. Similarly, each candidate will be given a chance to act in two short films and one album song to create a good profile.

DIRECTION

Light.. Camera.. Action These words are familiar to everyone. But the full introduction to the preparation that goes behind saying these three words has to be realised. The chair of Direction plays an important role in cinema. Along with a thorough understanding of Story development, Budget management, Casting, Crew selection, Location program and Post-production, Film Censor (CBFC) process, Film marketing, Distribution as well as the Legal framework and limitations related to films in direction classes.

SCREEN PLAY OR SCREEN WRITING

Everyone has seen and heard the story that a mother tells to a young child and also the moral lesson that the elders tell us. But the path and phase of the film is completely different. Because the storytelling is only for listening, what if it turns about showing the same story to the viewer? Something else needs to be practiced for that, which is called screenplay or screenwriting. Screenplay is the foundation of direction. In order to make a good film, it is essential to be clever in weaving the screenplay in an eye-catching manner. There are certain rules for writing a screenplay. Those rules allow the words on the sheet to be filmed on camera. What those rules are can be learned from courses related to screenwriting.

CINEMATOGRAPHY

Cinematography is the utmost technical position and responsible for bringing the director's dream to the screen. Three months training will be provided for this course by well experienced cinematographers. Knowledge of Wildlife photography, Portrait photography, Landscape photography along with Cinema stills can be acquired by our Institute. In order to cinematography, practical classes will be held to learn about lighting unit, natural lighting, DSLR, RED and ARRI cameras along with their technical analysis and gears.

EDITING

Shoot the film with COURAGE but edit without MERCY. The editor has to play an important role in post production as the director plays in pre-production and shooting. So it is essential for an editor to have an understanding of storytelling to create fascinating and need to stable audience attention on screen, this chair demands the immense of patience, why because declaring hassle against film footages is not easy task. Description of shot composition, understanding of Re-recording & Dubbing and software tools (Avid, FCP and Premiere Pro) which are used for editing. The students who are wish to join the editing course are given the opportunity to re-edit the footages of many documentaries, short films and movies which are produced and screened by our institution.

MUSIC (Vocal, Instrumental And Music Production)

The world of music is ruled by the seven letters “Sa” “Ri” “Ga” “Ma” “Pa” “Da” “Ni”. Seven reincarnations are not enough to understand these seven letters. The effort to realise these seven letters is continues even today, because music has no mercy, it only demands utmost practice and achievement. If hollow stones are the foundation for those who set out to achieve, their next steps will be wobbly. An attempt is made to pass on the acquired knowledge of Keyboard, Tabla and Vocals by offering complete classes in Tuning, Composition and Musical Instruments (about instrument playing) from our institute's trained professionals and composers.

DANCE

(Bharatanatyam, Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Folk and etc.) Who can't dance, from a milk-sucking calf to a monkey that jumps from branch to branch on a tree, the each and every leaving creature on the earth can dance. Compared to the same human species, each one can dance with as many limbs as they can. What makes a dance look good and different to the audience is the "style" adopted in that dance. From Bharatanatyam to European Jazz, this course provides dance training and skills training to candidates who are interested in dance. Dance classes will be acquired by skilled choreographers from the film industry.

SFX (SPECIAL SOUND EFFECTS)

Sound effects play an important role in creating a natural atmosphere and sound around the characters on screen to make the scene fascinate or scary. In many films, we have seen many instances where the entire film has been won through sound effects without background music. SFX process plays an important role in the post production works of a film and is an integral part of the film. SFX can be done in the studio with foley sound and stock sound footages. Neon software or audio recording tools are essential for that. SFX processing classes are offered to the candidates by skilled sound engineers in our institution and some tricks related to it will also be learned.

VFX (VISUAL EFFECTS)

VFX plays an important role in creating and glorifying certain scenes that are beyond the viewer's imagination and are not seen in reality. Fantasy films based on VFX is proof of this. VFX is the combination of real-life footage with computer graphics to bring a new visual splendor to the screen. VFX classes will be conducted for the candidates through “Adobe After Effects” by skilled graphics engineers.
